Development of the Digital Credentials Software Platform
We developed a platform for issuing digital high school diplomas in US schools.
Participating schools plan to completely refuse from traditional certificates that only contain a list of final grades for the disciplines studied. The idea was to develop a new type of school-specific certificate that would reveal students’ successes and aspirations. It can help university admission committees to consider each applicant in the most balanced way possible.
The platform enables continuous attestation within the educational process. Then, it generates a digital profile automatically sent to universities for a review.
U.S. students can benefit from early submissions. Only in 2021, 170 higher education institutions received digital certificates from graduates representing schools already use the platform to participate in the consortium.
The distributed team keeps developing the product. The new version comes with a built-in tool that helps schools quickly adapt to the system. Participants can learn how to interact with the platform and seamlessly move to the new attestation method.
